Paying for services with cryptocurrencies

This guide will help you get comfortable with using cryptocurrency to pay for various goods and services, including keys for the ArcheAngel Bot and scripts for it. We will try to destroy the myths and show that using this payment method is not only safe, simple, and fast but also profitable because by using crypto to pay for keys you can save a lot compared to other payment methods that are more familiar to you.

Introduction

Cryptocurrencies are some analog of electronic money that can be sent between users without restrictions. Transfers are made to wallet addresses - as a rule, this is a random set of characters. The easiest way to manage a wallet is to make it on some exchange (in our example, we will consider Binance). As a rule, for each transfer of funds, the sender pays a "network fee", the amount of which depends on the cryptocurrency itself. However, if you pay using Binance Pay, the transaction will take place directly inside the exchange, avoiding unnecessary fees.

First of all, you should know that there are 2 types of cryptocurrencies: the so-called stablecoins (coins whose rate is pegged to fiat currencies) and others, the rate of which is volatile and not pegged to fiat money.

Among the stablecoins, USDT (TRC20) is the most popular, in fact, it is a crypto dollar (i.e. 1 USDT = 1 USD), in which it is very convenient to store money without worrying that they will depreciate the moment you want to pay them off. The transfer fee is ~1$ (at the time of writing) regardless of the payment amount. And when paying with Binance Pay, there are no network fees at all!
Do not confuse it with USDT (ERC20) - it is less convenient because the transfer fee there is many times more (~$16)!

Among other currencies, LTC aka Litecoin is great for payment, because. has a very low transfer fee of ~0.01$.

As a rule, people simply buy USDT on the exchange, and then simply pay it off. But sometimes these exchanges have minimum limits on the amount of the transaction - in such cases, you can first convert the required amount from USDT to LTC and pay using it already.

There are a huge number of crypto exchanges, you can use any. The process of working with them is almost the same, the differences are only in commissions/exchange rates. Let's take a look at Binance as an example because it is one of the most popular in the world and in our case - the most profitable and convenient.

Registration on the exchange

  1. Go to the registration page
  2. Choose a convenient registration method, and perform all the necessary steps (mail confirmation, password creation, etc.)
  3. Verify identity (KYC) - for this, select your country and follow the instructions (should take no more than 15 minutes)
  4. In the future - download their app from Google Play or App Store

Balance refill

There are several options for how you can buy cryptocurrency on the exchange. You can either first replenish your fiat balance (USD / EUR, etc.) on the exchange, and then use these funds to buy a cryptocurrency for yourself, or immediately buy a crypt directly by paying it from your bank card. The second option is instant but slightly less profitable. Commissions in general are very dependent on which country you are in. For example, if you are from the European Union, then you can use the first option by replenishing your fiat balance using SEPA, and then converting the received EUR into USDT - this will be the most profitable option, but you will have to wait (sometimes more than a day).

Using a fiat balance again protects you from any risks associated with the volatility of the cryptocurrency exchange rate. You actually store the fiat currency in its purest form on your account, and change it to a crypt only at the moment when you need to pay something to it.

Buying crypto with a fiat balance

This option is usually more profitable, because. you get the best fiat-to-crypto exchange rate, but sending fiat funds to the exchange is most often done by bank transfer, which makes this method more time-consuming.

  1. Go to the fiat balance replenishment page, and select the currency and payment method there. Then follow the instructions from the exchange.

  2. Go to the page for buying crypto from a fiat balance, select the desired currencies, and follow the instructions

Buying crypto directly from a bank card

Go to the currency purchase page, choose which currency you are going to pay for and which one to buy. Then just follow the instructions from the exchange. The whole process is very similar to any online purchase with a card.

Cryptocurrency payment

Binance Pay (USDT)

Cryptodollar is the most convenient option to pay with Binance Pay.

  1. On the product purchase page, select the payment method USDT (Tether TRC20) with the Binance Pay label, select the quantity of the product you want to buy, and enter your email. Click the Pay button.
  2. On the payment page, you will be asked to either scan the QR code to make a payment in the mobile application, or continue in the browser. They are very similar, so we consider the browser option.
  3. On the payment confirmation page, if your balance has already been topped up, you will only have to choose where to withdraw funds from and confirm the payment.

Cryptomus (LTC)

Payment through the Cryptomus service is identical for any cryptocurrency. This gateway should be used if you have crypto on any wallet other than Binance, otherwise it is easier for you to follow the instructions above. Let's analyze the payment process using Litecoin as an example, because it has the lowest commission (only ~$0.01) for the transfer, but at the same time its rate is not stable. We recommend keeping funds in USDT or fiat, and changing them to LTC immediately at the time of payment for the goods, after you have been invoiced with the exact amount in LTC.

  1. On the product purchase page, select the LTC (Litecoin) payment method, select the quantity of the product you want to buy, and enter your email. Click the Pay button.
  2. On the payment page, you will see the wallet address and the amount to be transferred. You can copy them by clicking the appropriate buttons. You can also pay by QR code.

  3. Now that the invoice has been issued and the payment amount has been fixed for an hour, go to the USDT to LTC exchange page and indicate the required amount, remembering to add the network fee (0.001 LTC) to it for future transfer.

  4. In order to transfer funds from your Binance account, you need to open a spot wallet, find LTC in the list, and click Withdraw.
  5. Next, you need to specify the wallet address, and the amount and select the network (the name should be LTC / Litecoin). Click the Withdraw button and follow the instructions of the exchange (you will soon need to confirm the payment through a one-time code that will be sent to you by mail).
